Sarasota, Florida

A day in Sarasota, is just what this girl needed. Straight from the airport to St. Armands Circle, and everything for the rest of the day is within walking distance. St. Armands circle is filled with resturaunts, bars, and shops from high-end fashion to local boutiques. The best part about it’s location is that once you’re done shopping and eating, if you just keep heading straight you’ll walk right onto the beautiful beach.

Although beautiful, that part of the main beach does have quite a few people on it, but don’t worry we found the jackpot! (Once you walk onto the beach from St. Armands circle go straight to the right and keep walking down until you see a bunch of trees. That’s your goto spot.)

This part of the beach was so serene, with hardly anyone around. I mean look at the pictures, it felt like we were the only ones on the beach, when in reality it was just that the majority of the people were back in the central portion. The water was shallow and there were small “swimming pools” of beautiful blue ocean water around this part of the beach, making it that much more relaxing (especially for ya girl whose terrified she’s gonna get bit by a shark).

Oh and if you’re looking for a sand dollar, this is your spot. I found the most perfect one, and I was so proud and excited to have found it. That is until I made the mistake of putting it in my wristlet and found it crushed at the airport. Not gonna lie I almost cried when I saw what happened, so if you find one make sure to put it in a safe place.

Overall, this day trip was a perfect mixture of tropics, convenience, and relaxation. Keep scrolling for a look into the stops we took along St. Armands Circle.
