Dollar Tree Christmas Decor

Although the majority of my Christmas decor is from Hobby Lobby, I was still able to include some easy money saving decorations to my home from the Dollar Tree that look just as cute. I hope this post inspires you to get crafty and festive while saving a couple of dollars. Stay tuned for my next post on all things Christmas at Hobby Lobby – the sales are amazing!

DIY Christmas Wreath

  • What you need: 1 bow & 1 strand of garland
  • Directions: The garland already comes packaged in a wreath shape, so just take off the tag from the garland and tie the ribbon to the top center portion.
  • This is absolutely the cutest, cheapest (total $2.00), and easiest diy Christmas decor I’ve done to this day.
  • The Miniature White Christmas Trees came in a package of 2 and complemented the wreath perfectly.

DIY CHRISTMAS CHAIR BOWS

  • What you need: 2 packs of (2) bows, 2 rolls of ribbon, scissors, & 4 safety pins or glue.
  • Directions: Cut your ribbon the diameter of the chair. Weave the ribbon through the back of the bow until the bow is centered. Safety pin or glue the two sides of the ribbon together.
  • TA-DAH cute, easy, & affordable!

DIY CHRISTMAS TABLE ORNAMENT DECOR

  • What you need for two: 2 packs of ornaments, 2 vases, & green ribbon
  • Directions: Arrange the ornaments in the vase however you’d like and then tie the green ribbon around the vase into a bow. It’s as easy as that & ONLY $4.00!
  • I used the extra ornaments to decorate my coffee table!

DIY CHRISTMAS STOCKING:

  • What you need: 1 Dollar Tree stocking, strong glue, & rhinestones (I used e600 glue & rhinestone from Hobby Lobby that I already had, but Dollar Tree has gorilla glue & stones as well.)
  • Directions: Simply glue the rhinestones to your stocking in any formation you’d like. I placed mine diagonally, but you could definitely get fancier and make yours into initials or any type of cute design.
  • The Merry Christmas Sign is also from Dollar Tree ($1.00). They have a ton of different Christmas signs you can choose from.

DIY GARLAND:

  • What you need: 2 strands of garland, a medium sized bow, & a bouquet of flowers ($4.00 total). *Plus strong glue.
  • Directions: Twist the 2 pieces of garland together. Pull the flowers off of the bouquet & then hot glue the bow & flowers to the garland. (Since this was just for my office I didn’t go all out, but you can definitely add more flowers and decor to the garland to spruce it up a bit.)
  • The Tissue Pom-Pom Garland & Bows were taped above the tv in my office to add a little bit more festiveness to my room. (Pom-Pom garland $1.00each & bows $1.00 for 2)
